Therapeutic bodywork rooted in a lifetime of understanding the body — and a genuine drive to help yours feel better.
Imagine waking up the morning after your session and reaching for your coffee without that familiar pull in your shoulder. Moving through your day without bracing for the ache that's been there so long you forgot it wasn't normal.
Imagine turning your head all the way to check your blind spot. Picking up your kid without thinking twice. Sleeping through the night. Feeling lighter in your body than you have in months — not because something was temporarily numbed, but because something actually shifted.
That's what clients at Heeling Hands describe after their sessions. Not just 'that was relaxing' — but 'I can move my neck again.' 'I slept better than I have in years.' 'I didn't realize how much I was holding until it was gone.'
This is the work I've built my practice around — therapeutic bodywork that creates real, functional change in how you feel and move through your life.

Every session starts before I lay a hand on you.
Before we begin, I want to understand you — not just where it hurts, but what your goals are, what you've tried before, what's changed in your body recently, and what getting better actually looks like for you.
Most massage sessions start with 'where do you want me to focus?' At Heeling Hands, we go deeper than that. The intake process is where the real work begins — because a session built around a thorough understanding of what your body needs will always outperform one built around assumptions. I don't spend a lot of time focused on what other practitioners are doing. My focus is entirely on two things: getting better at my craft, and getting better results for my clients. That's it. That singular focus is what drives every continuing education course I take, every technique I refine, and every session I deliver. |
I've known I wanted to do this work since I was six years old.
I can't fully explain it — it was less of a decision and more of a knowing. A kinesthetic sense, even as a kid, that I understood bodies. How they move, how they compensate, how they hold on to things they should let go of.
Growing up playing sports and staying active gave me a firsthand education in what it feels like when your body isn't working the way it should — the aches, the restrictions, the way pain quietly changes how you move and what you're willing to try. That experience never left me. It lives in how I listen to clients and how I approach every session.
After earning my Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Stephen F. Austin University — studying the science of human movement — I completed my Licensed Massage Therapist certification at the Lauterstein-Conway Massage School in Austin. But the foundation was always there, long before any degree or certification.
I started Heeling Hands because I love this work and I love what it does for people. There is nothing better than a client walking out of a session standing taller, moving more freely, or telling me they did something that day they hadn't been able to do in months. That outcome — that moment — is why I do this.
